Preschool Education Department Prospective Student Information
In addition to aiming to train teachers who will work in pre-school education institutions, the Department of Pre-School Teaching aims to contribute to the field by conducting scientific studies in the field of pre-school education. In order to achieve these goals, it offers 4-year undergraduate education as well as postgraduate (master's and doctoral) education.
The goal of the Department of Preschool Education is to develop preschool teachers who have basic field and professional knowledge, who can improve themselves and who are sensitive to the problems and needs of our country and the world, who have positive attitudes and behaviors towards children, who are sensitive to social and environmental problems, who act in accordance with professional ethics. To train academics and other professionals who will work in the field.
Postgraduate Education
Master's degree education was started in the 1993-94 academic year, and the Preschool Education doctoral program was started in 1996. This program is one of the rare postgraduate programs in the field of pre-school education. Information about Preschool Teaching master's and doctoral programs with thesis can be obtained from the Institute of Educational Sciences.
Working places
Graduated students can work as Preschool Teachers in kindergartens of public schools, independent kindergartens or private sector kindergartens.
